“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”
James 1:27 NLT
Protect God’s little ones
Jesus was adamant about the protection and nurturing of the “little ones,” children who were dependent and trusting in those whom God the Father had placed over their care. Marathon life is devoted to supporting and connecting with organizations which rescue and shield children from Human Trafficking, slavery and manipulation.
Visit God’s lonely ones
Visitation of the elderly, the sick, and the imprisoned is another mandate of the Great Commission, those limited due to confinement or inabilities are always in God’s heart. We are devoted to contacting, encouraging, and edifying those who need God’s presence through spiritual interaction and edification.

Feed God’s Hungry Ones
God’s passion for the hungry and destitute was exhibited throughout scripture and is the defining evidence of a heart after God. Jesus had deep compassion for the multitude who were lost and hungry. In the parable of the Wedding those on the highways and byways were invited on the merit of need and grace.
