Who we are

Marathon Life is a ministry that stands on the Hebrews 12:1 principle established by the Apostle Paul as the goal of all who identify as Christians: “Let us run with endurance the race marked out for us.” 

Each one of us is given a distinct course (lane) to run.  And, the prize is not to the first–for that belongs only to Christ–but to the one who follows Christ endures in faith till the end. 

Our statement of faith

We acknowledge Christ as Lord and Savior and believe in Him as “The Word” who was from the beginning with God and is Himself God, the Creator of all things. We study as Greek-speaking believers in the Greek language seeking to accurately divide the word of truth and encourage the fellowship of all nations under Christ, the head.

We believe that the gospel (Ευαγγέλιον - EVANGELION = “Good News”) was sequentially given to the Jew first and also to the Greek and therefore to the whole Earth, to every tribe, tongue, and nation equally and without cost because Christ paid the full debt of our sin.  He has seized the keys of death and secured eternal life for all who put their faith in Him and endure in that faith to the end.
